Licensing

The department has a provision to provide 3 kinds of Licenses:

• Re-making of weight & measurement instruments
• Repair of   weight & measurement instruments
• Behavior of weight & measurement instruments

The businessman has to apply for these licenses to his area Standards Laboratory Centre where his measurement instruments are renovated/repaired/inspected, and the license is allotted to him by the Laboratory In charge.
