About the Department
The mission of the department of Food & Civil Supplies is to ensure supply of food grains (Rice & Wheat) and other commodities (Sugar & Salt) to the consumer in a transparent manner under the Public Distribution System and other Government schemes at fair price. Various schemes implemented by the department are:
- National Food Security Scheme-NFSA (AAY+ PHH)
- State Food Yojana (SFY)
