Renewal / Duplicate

Process is same as for applying a new ration card. Old Ration card is attached with the application form. Time period of a ration card is 5 years. Time allotted to beneficiary for renewing the ration card after the expiry is Two month and if it is not renewed by the beneficiary then the ration card entry of the beneficiary is removed from the register.

Fees: 5 Rs.

Supporting Documents Required

1. Address Proof (Water/Electricity/Telephone Bill)

2. If on rent (Rent Receipt)
3. Surrender Certificate (In case of transferring from 1 Town/Gram Panchayat to another)
4. Ration Card of previous residence (In case of transferring from 1 Town/Gram Panchayat to another)
5. Certificate of residence address & no. of members by Institutional Head ( For Govt/Semi Govt Personnel)
6. Certificate of residence address & no. of members by Institutional Head/ Reporting Officer ( For people working in Registered Industrial Institutions)
7. Certificate for taking education & residential address by Institutional Head. (For students in Urban Area)
